Question 1:
I have received Admission text from Foundation Polytechnic, Ikot Ekpene. But I didn't chose the school when I registered for JAMB? How is that possible?

Answer:
With our initiative, we obtained a list of JAMB candidates that have not yet been offered admission by their chosen institutions. If you are interested in the admission, follow the instructions in the text you received and process the admission. If not, you are free to wait for admission from the schools you applied. It is a matter of choice.

Question 2:
I have received Admission text from Foundation Polytechnic, Ikot Ekpene. How do I know that it is not scam?

Answer:
Reasons to know that it is not scam:

(i) the school has a physical address. That means you can visit it and confirm;

(ii) the school has been accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). You can login to NBTE website www.nbte.gov.ng and confirm the school among the accredited private polytechnics in Nigeria;

(iii) the school is in JAMB. You should read the admission text and the admission letter carefully. You will see where it requires you to do change of institution and make the school first choice on JAMB. Think properly, you will know that JAMB would not deal with an illegal school.

Question 3:
I have received Admission text from Foundation Polytechnic, Ikot Ekpene. I logged into my JAMB CAPS and I'm told that I have not been offered admission. Why?

Answer:
Foundation Polytechnic, Ikot Ekpene is considering you for admission. You have been issued with provisional Admission letter of the school. If you accept the offer, you should effect change of institution on JAMB and make Foundation Polytechnic, Ikot Ekpene, first choice. Thereafter, your Admission on JAMB CAPS will be processed by the school and approved by JAMB for issuance of JAMB Admission letter.

Question 4:
I have received Admission text from Foundation Polytechnic, Ikot Ekpene. I'm interested in the admission. What should I do?

Answer:
There are three things to be done, These include:
(i) Go to a Cyber Cafe and print the school admission letter;
(ii) Go to JAMB office or JAMB CBT Centre and change your first choice institution on JAMB to Foundation Polytechnic, Ikot Ekpene. Also, upload your O'level results: WAEC, NECO or NABTEB on JAMB
(iii) Come to the Campus for Registration.

What are the steps to print the school admission letter?

Answer:
You are to print or view admission letter by following these steps:

Login to the website included in the text: www.foundationpoly.edu.ng

Click "Print Admission Letter"

Enter your JAMB Registration number


Question 6:
Can I do change of institution at Cyber Cafe?

Answer:
No. Change of Institution is done at JAMB office or JAMB CBT Centre.

Question 7:
Can I upload my O'level result at Cyber Cafe?

Answer:
No. Uploading of O'level result is done at JAMB office or JAMB CBT Centre.

Question 8:
I had already uploaded my O'level result. Should I upload it again?

Answer:
No. Uploading of O'level result is done once.

Question 9:
I have just done change of institution on JAMB and I tried to print my JAMB Admission letter. But my JAMB CAPS is saying that I have not been offered admission. Why?

Answer:
If you have just done change of institution on JAMB, wait for a few days, say three to seven days for the admission to be processed by the school and approved by JAMB.


Question 10:
What are the documents to bring to the school during Registration?

Answer:
Check the school admission letter. All the required documents for Registration are clearly stated in the admission letter.

Question 11:
I don't like the course I was offered Admission. Is it possible to change it?

Answer:
Yes. Read item number 3 in the admission letter. Come to the Registrar's office in the campus and request for change of course.

Question 12:
I don't know the direction to the Campus. How can I be guided?

Answer:
Check the admission letter towards the end of it, there is "Direction to the Campus". After reading it, if you still have difficulty, call any of the phone numbers in the text you received for guidance.

How much is school fees?

Answer:
Acceptance fee: N20,000
School fee: N61,250

Question 14:
Are there hostels in the school?

Answer:
Yes.

Question 15:
How much is hostel fee?

Answer:
Hostel fee: N25,000 per year

Can I cook in the hostel?

Answer:
Yes.
